Screen Repairs: What’s Included

Last Update één maand geleden

A screen repair is more than just swapping glass. Our goal is to get your device looking right, working right, and fully tested before it goes back in your hands.

What’s included in a typical screen repair
  • Screen replacement using the best part option available for your device and budget
  • Careful removal and reassembly using proper tools to reduce risk of damage
  • Basic function testing after the repair (as testing access allows), including things like:
    • Touch responsiveness
    • Display brightness/clarity
    • Front camera (and proximity sensor when applicable)
    • Speaker/earpiece
    • Microphone (when testable)
    • Basic button checks

DisplayShield (included at no extra cost)

All phone, tablet, and 2‑in‑1 device screen repairs now include DisplayShield at no extra cost.

DisplayShield provides one free screen replacement within 1 year if the screen gets damaged again after your repair (coverage rules apply). It’s our way of adding extra peace of mind without adding extra cost.

If you have questions about eligibility or how a claim works, just ask—we’ll explain it clearly before you leave.

What can affect the final result (common, and important)

Some devices have pre-existing issues that a new screen can’t fix, such as:

  • Frame/housing damage (bent frame can cause screen lifting or pressure points)
  • Liquid damage/corrosion
  • Prior repairs (missing screws, damaged connectors, incorrect adhesives, etc.)
  • Internal display damage that spreads over time (especially after drops)
If we find anything unusual, we’ll document it and let you know.

Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint sensors
  • We take care around biometric components, but some devices have limitations:
    • iPhones: certain models may lose True Tone or have Face ID issues if there was prior damage or prior repair work.
    • Androids: fingerprint sensors vary by model; we’ll test when possible.
If your device already had Face ID/Touch ID/fingerprint issues before the repair, a screen replacement typically won’t restore it.

Do you need to remove your screen protector or case?
  • Cases: sometimes we’ll remove the case for proper fitment/testing.
  • Screen protectors: if yours is cracked or lifting, it may need to be removed during the repair. We’ll tell you before we do anything.

    Warranty (quick overview)

Most screen repairs include a warranty against part/manufacturing defects. It does not cover new physical damage, liquid damage, or accidental breaks after the repair. If you have a concern after pickup, contact us right away so we can take a look.

    Want the fastest turnaround?

If you can, book an appointment and let us know your exact model ahead of time—especially if the device is newer or less common.
