Warranty Exclusions

Physical Damage, Liquid Damage, OEM Apple, etc.

We stand behind our work, and we also want to be transparent about what warranties can and can’t cover. Most warranty exclusions come down to new damage after the repair or damage that’s outside the repair’s control.

Not covered by warranty

Warranty typically does not cover:

  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, impacts)
  • Liquid/water damage
  • Damage from pressure/bending (pocket/seat pressure, frame bend, etc.)
  • New issues unrelated to the original repair
  • Problems caused by third-party repairs or modifications after we service the device

    Why exclusions matter

A warranty covers defects in the part or installation, not accidents or new damage. If something changes after the repair (drop, water exposure, heavy pressure), it can cause symptoms that look similar to a defect—but aren’t.

    If something doesn’t feel right

Bring it in. We’ll inspect it and explain what we find. If it’s warranty-related, we’ll take care of it. If it’s damage-related, we’ll give you options.
