Do You Need My Passcode?

 

Short answer

A passcode is not always required, but it can help us do more complete testing after the repair.

Why we might ask

Some functions can only be tested fully from inside the operating system, like:

• Cameras
• Speakers/mics
• Cellular/Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth behavior
• Certain sensors and settings
• 
  

If you don’t want to share it

That’s totally fine. We can still do many repairs, but:

• Testing may be limited
• We may ask you to test certain functions at pickup
• We’ll clearly explain what was and wasn’t tested
• 
  

Privacy

We don’t go through your personal content. If we need access for testing, it’s strictly for function checks related to the repair.
