If you want extra peace of mind beyond a standard repair warranty, protection plans can help cover future accidental damage (drops, cracks, etc.). We offer options through AKKO and MyProtection Pro, and we’ll help you choose the plan that makes the most sense for your device and budget.

What these plans are (simple explanation)
  • A repair warranty covers the repair work/part defects.
  • A protection plan helps cover future incidents after you leave (depending on the plan and approval).

Monthly and annual options

Both AKKO and MyProtection Pro offer monthly or annual plan options (availability and pricing can vary). If you tell us what device you have and what kind of coverage you want, we’ll help you compare the best fit.

AKKO (overview)

AKKO offers multiple plan styles, including:

  • Single-device plans (multiple tiers available)
  • Family plans- $50 Month-Unlimited Devices
  • Customizable business/organization plans (for teams that want coverage across multiple devices)
AKKO Red (multi-device coverage)

AKKO also offers AKKO Red for $15/month, which can include:

  • 1 phone, plus
  • Up to 25 other personal electronics (examples can include game consoles, laptops, tablets, smart watches, TVs, and more)
AKKO Red typically includes:
  • Up to $2,000 per claim
  • About 2 claims per year on average (per plan rules)

    MyProtection Pro (overview)

MyProtection Pro offers plans with different coverage levels (monthly or annual options). It’s generally designed to help cover accidental damage (like drops/cracks), based on the plan you choose.

Key coverage difference (loss/theft vs damage)

    In general:

    • AKKO plans can include loss and theft coverage (plan-dependent).
    • MyProtection Pro is primarily focused on damage coverage, and typically does not include loss/theft.

We’ll confirm the exact coverage details with you at sign-up so you know exactly what’s included.

What to expect for claims (applies to most plans)

      Most claims require:

      • Device details (model + IMEI/serial)
      • Photos/video of the device condition (often required)
      • Photos of the damage
      • Basic customer/device info

Approval is often within 24–48 hours (many are same day), but timing can vary.

        Want help choosing?

        If you tell us:

        • Your device model
        • Whether you prefer monthly vs annual
        • Whether you want single-devicefamily, or multi-device coverage
        • Whether loss/theft coverage matters to you
          …we’ll recommend the best option.
