Game Console Repair Pricing
Flat Rate vs Advanced Repair

We keep console pricing as simple as possible. Most common console repairs fall under a flat-rate price, and more complex issues that require board-level work cost more due to the time, tools, and skill involved.
Flat-rate pricing usually applies to common issues like:
- Overheating / loud fan (cleaning and service)
- Power issues that don’t require board-level repair
- Basic hardware replacements (when applicable)
- General diagnostics leading to a standard repair
Some issues require deeper diagnostics and board-level work (or outsourced board-level service), such as:
- HDMI port damage with board-level complications
- Power management failures
- Liquid damage/corrosion
- Intermittent faults that require component-level troubleshooting
- The exact console model and the issue found during diagnosis
- Whether parts are needed and their cost/availability
- Evidence of prior repairs, missing screws, or internal damage
- Liquid damage or corrosion
- Many flat-rate repairs can be completed in a reasonable timeframe depending on workload and parts.
- Advanced/board-level work can take longer, and outsourced options may take weeks depending on the case.
Because console issues can take real bench time to diagnose, we charge a $65 bench fee for console diagnostics.
- The $65 bench fee is paid upfront so we’re not spending diagnostic time for free.
- If you move forward with a repair, that $65 is credited toward any completed console repair.
- If you choose not to proceed after diagnosis, the bench fee covers the time spent testing and troubleshooting.
